The Rabbis Have More Authority Than God - The Oven of Akhnai

In this episode, Jack tells the Talmudic story of the oven of Akhnai which is the basis for the belief in Judaism that what Rabbis say has more authority than literally God's voice speaking from Heaven saying the opposite thing. This is an absurd Talmudic story which provides the quintessential story of the stiff-neckedness of the jews as exhibited throughout the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments.
