An ISIS terror attack with a pick-up truck is said to have taken place in New Orleans at the beginning of 2025. Just two weeks ago, a certain Taleb al-Abdulmohsen allegedly ran amok at a Christmas market in Magdeburg. This brought back some memories of the so-called “IS terror” at Berlin's Breitscheidplatz by the “Islamist terrorist” Anis Amri eight years ago. Although Google has made most of the contradictions and “red flags” about the terrorist attack in Berlin disappear down the memory hole, I was still able to retrieve some information from my archives. Much of what we as media consumers were told at the time was truly head-shaking. To mark the occasion, I will revisit the alleged “ISIS terror” at Breitscheidplatz and draw some comparisons with the event at the Magdeburg Christmas market 😎
