Trump FINALLY Orders Release of All JFK, RFK, MLK Assassination Documents

On Day Four of his second presidency, Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order commanding federal agencies and departments to release ALL still-classified files related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Historians have long awaited this day, after fighting (and sometimes suing) the government for more than a half-century to gain access to these important secret documents on the #JFK, #RFK, and #MLK murders.

The JFK Records Act, passed by Congress in 1992, expired in 2017 during President Trump's first term of office. Trump initially promised to release all of the records in October 2017, but then changed his mind after a last-minute visit from CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

Release of the files was twice delayed by Presidents Trump and Biden, citing national security concerns.

During his 2024 campaign, Trump pledged to release the remaining files if elected -- and today he kept his word.

"Everything will be revealed," Trump said as he signed the Order. Capping his presidential Sharpie, he told an aide, "give this to #RFKJR."
