Novel by Capital Gazette victim to be published

A novel written by one of the journalists who died in the shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper, is going to be published. Rob Hiassen was a reporter for the newspaper. He was killed in that shooting back in June. Hiassen had written a book called “Float Plan“ — his first novel — which will now be released on Sept. 15, by Loyola University's Apprentice House Press. Hiaasen and four other Capital Gazette employees — Rebecca Smith, Gerald Fischman, Rob McNamara and Wendi Winters — were killed when a gunman opened fire at the office of that newspaper.
