Posted • January 23, 2025: An investigation has been launched into an incident on a Dublin Bus where a passenger was threatened with a screwdriver by a teenager. The incident, which has gone viral online, saw the teenager verbally threaten the passenger before showing him a long screwdriver in his hand. He threatened the passenger with the weapon while calling him slurs during the incident. During the video, the teen clutches the screwdriver while calling the passenger a "faggot" and threatening to use the weapon. He then tries to grab the phone recording the incident and demands the filming stops. He continues to threaten the passenger and taunts them, saying "you do something" before claiming he will "smack them over the face" with the screwdriver. As the passenger reaches for the teen, they stand up and shout "do you want to get busted" in his face before telling him to get off the bus.
