ELTV: Julie McFadden, a heart for helpless children of Haiti accepted the call to be a missionary!

WHAT COMPELS SOMEONE TO PICK UP AND LEAVE THEIR HOMELAND TO TRAVEL TO FOREIGN LAND FOR THE SAKE OF THE SHARING THE GOSPEL? CHRISTIANS ANSWER THE CALL NOT OUT OF DUTY, BUT BECAUSE OF THE LOVE OF GOD SHED ABROAD IN THEIR HEART.

Julie's Brief Bio:

In 2015, Julie went with Don Shire Ministries and Minooka Bible Church to Haiti. On this trip, Julie fell in love with Haiti and the children at the orphanage. She felt God leading her to continue helping the children in whatever way she could. She developed a program called orphanED at Minooka Bible Church to support the kids from Don Shire Ministries as they “age- out” of the orphanage. This program provides for vocational training and/or college education to give each child the best shot possible at a secure future. She continued to volunteer for DSM whenever possible.

In January 2018, she came on as staff at Don Shire Ministries and is thrilled to take deeper steps into the work in Haiti. Her role involves managing the ministries DSM has in Haiti.
