- **Yogurt (Dahi):** 500 grams
- **Condensed milk:** 400 grams
- **Mango pulp:** 1 cup
- **Cardamom powder:** ½ teaspoon
- **Saffron strands:** a few (optional)
- **Chopped nuts (e.g., pistachios, almonds):** for garnish

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare the Mixture:**
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt and condensed milk. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the mango pulp and cardamom powder to the mixture. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- If using saffron strands, soak them in a tablespoon of warm milk for a few minutes, then add to the mixture.

2. **Steam the Pudding:**
- Pour the mixture into a heatproof dish or individual ramekins.
- Cover the dish or ramekins with aluminum foil to prevent water from entering.
- Place them in a steamer and steam for about 25-30 minutes on medium heat, or until the pudding sets.
- To check for doneness, insert a toothpick; it should come out clean.

3. **Cool and Serve:**
- Once cooked, remove from the steamer and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
- Before serving, garnish with chopped nuts.
