A devoted dad has described the chilling moment doctors told him his 18-month old son was about to die. John Drummond, 51, and his wife Sarah were told to expect the worst when their son Ted, who had leukaemia, was also struck down with e-coli. Doctors told them it was unlikely the 18-month-old would be strong enough to fight the potentially-lethal combination. The heartbroken couple were told to kiss Ted goodbye - and warned he could have just 10 minutes to live.
