Exposing YouTube’s Flawed Policies: Why “The Crypto Ponzi Scheme Avenger” Was Terminated
On January 21, 2025, YouTube terminated my channel, “The Crypto Ponzi Scheme Avenger,” for alleged violations of their sex and nudity policy—a shocking and devastating blow to my mission of exposing cryptocurrency-based Ponzi schemes and protecting everyday investors. With 1,900 videos and years of investigative work, my channel was a vital resource for raising public awareness and holding scammers accountable.
In this video, I detail the events that led to YouTube’s decision, including two strikes—one involving Ryan “Ryzn” Conley during a live-streamed interview and another involving explicit content posted by a malicious actor, “TUGMAN,” during a Zoom meeting. Despite taking immediate action to edit and blur content, YouTube issued strikes that ultimately silenced my platform. I also discuss the relentless challenges I’ve faced, from coordinated smear campaigns and targeted subscriber manipulation to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on my websites, including dehek.com and lquidpay.com.
Key highlights of this video include:
The Megan Lynch Incident: A malicious effort by scammers to weaponize YouTube’s policies against my channel.
Subscriber Manipulation: Fluctuations from 8,500 to 28,000 due to bot attacks, with YouTube taking no meaningful action despite my reports.
DDoS Attacks: Efforts to take down my websites exposing scams like WE ARE ALL SATOSHI and LquidPay.
The $3.8 Million Defamation Lawsuit: How Stephen Mccullah attempted to silence me, and how my incredible legal team fought back in New Zealand’s High Court.
The Legal Aid Milestone: My case was the first to qualify for legal aid in New Zealand, highlighting the systemic gaps in protecting whistleblowers from Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs).
The Impact of Social Media Bans: From Facebook to Zoom, platforms have penalized me for exposing scams while allowing fraudulent schemes to flourish.
False Claims by Craig Wotton and Rory Conacher: Exposing individuals spreading misinformation and promoting fraudulent recovery services.
This video isn’t just about my fight—it’s about raising awareness of systemic flaws in social media platforms and legal systems that scammers exploit. It’s also a call for action to protect whistleblowers and ensure platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom take meaningful steps to support creators exposing fraud.
If you share my passion for exposing scams and protecting investors, please support my work at Buy Me a Coffee. (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/dehek) Together, we can continue the fight against fraud and bring scammers to justice.
