Since eevee ex is also a tera pokemon it is easy to power up with energies using terapagos. From there, we can evolve into either leafeon ex or jolteon ex depending on what's best for our match up. Different types are going to let us hit more pokemon for weakness which is a classic merit of numerous eeveelution decks from the past as well. Even without that, jolteon ex and flareon ex hit for very high damage to begin with and and score some key OHKOs.
