HUGE Sonic 4 News! Jim Carrey to Postpone Retirement For Robotnik!

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is winding down its Box Office dominance, but not before passing some important franchise milestones. Sonic 3 is officially the highest grossing film in the series and the cherry on top of this historic run would be if it manages to hang on and defeat Mufasa at the Domestic Box Office, which is likely.

But looking forward to what comes next is intriguing. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has already been given the go-ahead and it's penciled in for Spring 2027. Given the cast, crew and professional shoot, Jim Carrey is willing to push off his self imposed retirement to reprise his role as Doctor Ivo Robotnik, meaning there is plenty left in the tank for the comedic legend. Eggman will rise again and Sonic will have another Disney foe to trounce in 2 years time!
