Xbox Gives Up on Avowed! These Changes Point to Obsidian RPG DELAY!

Avowed is scheduled for a February 18th release and there have been shockingly few updates for this Obsidian RPG since November. Art Director Matt Hansen's meltdown over Elon Musk and his racist past have dominated the conversation, yet Xbox has done very little to promote their first big title of 2025.

Eagle-eyed observers noticed some interesting changes on the game's Steam page. The community section going down and changes to the Early Access release lead everyone to believe a delay is on the horizon.

It's a game that has been in development for years, it's gameplay looks rough and has ideologues parading around the corpse of a once great studio to justify their modern day political agenda. Stop me if you have heard this before and why this is not at all shocking.
