This is a track from School Playground, our 31st album, recorded in 2016. Text and music by Andy Martin. Cashmore was approximately the same age as me but didn’t attend the same school. His parents ran the Rendezvous Cafe in Alton high street. We met on 3 occasions and every encounter resulted in a punch-up...and he slaughtered me on each occasion. Life can be so cruel, can’t it?
