#### Step 1: Roast the Vermicelli
1. Heat ghee in a large heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
2. Add crushed cardamom pods and sauté until aromatic.
3. Add the vermicelli (if not pre-roasted) and roast until golden brown, stirring continuously. Set aside.
#### Step 2: Prepare Milk Mixture
1. In another pot, heat milk and water together.
2. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
3. If using food color, mix it into the milk for a festive touch.
