Horror Film Classic, The Screaming Skull (1958)

The Screaming Skull (1958) is an independently made American black-and-white horror film, produced by John Kneubuhl and directed by Alex Nicol (his directorial debut), and starring John Hudson, Peggy Webber, Russ Conway, Tony Johnson, and Nicol.

The film's storyline concerns a newly-married couple, Eric and Jenni, who arrive at the home of the Eric's first wife, where the gardens have been maintained by a gardener faithful to the dead woman's memory. Soon, eerie events lead Jenni to think she's losing her mind and being haunted by the ghost of her new husband's previous wife.
