Summary:
A press conference held for Broye is held, where she reveals her plans to show her strength and intention for out doing Suzuka's last race. When asked about the rising star Special Week, Broye states that she'll win against her.
Special Week's Mother arrives at the train station and learns from the conductor there that she got off at the wrong stop. The conductor gives her directions to the racetrack and then Special Week's mom heads off to it, intending to run the entire way. Meanwhile, Team Spica are driven to the racetrack by Trainer for the Japan Cup. Waiting in front of a brass statue, Special Week’s mom overhears a trio of men talk about the upcoming Japan Race. The conversation unnerves her as one of the men believes Broye will win, while the other two want Special Week to win, hoping for a "miracle". Special Week’s mom then confronts the group proclaiming her daughter will win and is then approached by Silence Suzuka and Trainer. After the two introduce each other, they then walk down a hallway to Special Week's waiting room while talking about her and the letters that she wrote. At said room, Condor, Grass, Seiun, and Halo wait in front of Special Week's room and are soon joined by Haru who brought souvenirs with her. They're all then approached by Maruzensky who scolds the group for disturbing Special Week before her big race. However, the girls intention was to simply wish Special Week good luck before the race and just then the door to Special Week's room opens up. Surprised by the crowd, Special Week was told by the girls good luck on her race and she thanks them and briefly asks Condor what is, "Let's have a good race" in French. So Condor informs her and happily, Special Week thanks Condor and heads to the racetrack.
In the end, Special Week's mother decided to not see Special Week and instead chose to take her seat in the audience. Both Special Week and Broye make their before the race introduction and Special Week acts with an air of confidence. While members of Team Rigil watch and Symboli notes the academy slogan. Heading down the tunnel into the racetrack, Special Week sees Suzuka by the exit and is then approached by Broye who confidently smiles. Outside on the racetrack, Special Week meets with her Trainer and her teammates.
Right before the race starts, Special Week greets Broye and Broye, in turn, greets Special Week and kisses her on the cheek making her flustered. Regaining her composure, Special Week speaks in French to Broye, Let's have a good race and gives her a handshake. The race then begins and in a close race, Special Week wins against Broye. After the race, Broye congratulates Special Week for her victory, however, mindfully warns her not to get cocky.
Afterward, Special Week performs the winning concert where her mother gets up on stage with her.
