How to manage BDRSuite Virtual Drive

In this BDRSuite's How-To series, we’ll guide you through managing BDRSuite Virtual Drive. This is a feature that allows you to mount backup data as a virtual disk for easy and instant access.

Steps Covered:

1. Navigate to the 'Recovery' tab and select the 'Restore Backup Data' option.
2. Click on the 'Restore' button of the specific backup job.
3. Choose the restore type either as 'Instant Boot VM' or 'Disk Mount' and perform complete restores. This will virtually mount the backup data for instant access.
4. From this point you can manage the mount and unmounting process of the BDRSuite Virtual Drive as follows;
5. Navigate to the 'Recovery' tab and click on 'Manage BDRSuite Virtual Drive' option.
6.Enable NFS Share if required and under 'Actions' tab, you can manage the 'Mount' and 'Unmount' operations.
