Boy dies after getting hit in the head with a baseball

An 8-year-old child was killed while playing baseball Wednesday afternoon, the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office says. It happened in the Town of Mishicot around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. Deputy Inspector Jason Orth said in a news release that it appears as if the child was unintentionally hit in the head by a baseball.
