KCPD investigating homicide at 40th and Park

KCPD said a man is dead after a shooting near 40th and Park. Police said officers were dispatched to the area on sounds of gunshots around 4:20 a.m. When they got to the scene, they found a Hispanic man in his mid 20s lying in the grass. Police said he was pronounced dead a short time later.
