First things first, we are not mechanics.

A great friend of mine recently purchased two 1975 Jeep CJ5s from Facebook Marketplace and asked me to help him get one running while also putting a video together of what we had to go through to get it running.

According to the seller, both jeeps haven’t run in over 20 years. They were originally used in the Appalachian mountains to haul wood. That’s about all we know about these jeeps.

My friend knows a lot more about engines than I do, plus these are his jeeps so he has the lead on this while I’m helping wherever I can, and videotaping.
