We all know that kids love to do all sorts of games, especially when it includes hiding under a blanket or even better, pulling off the invisibility cloth trick! So, naturally it never even crossed our minds that someone might believe that they can become invisible when covered with a regular blanket. However, that is not the case with the boy in this video, as he quickly falls for the family trick and starts to freak out!

Footage, filmed on August 26, 2018 in Garden City, Kansas, USA shows one family gathered in the living-room playing tag. Moments later, one of the boys is covered with a blanket, and other family members joke that they are going to try and pull the invisibility trick on him, in order to see if he really disappears!

Apparently, this family had seen a video about a guy that had been tricked into thinking he was invisible, so one of their friends suggested that they should try it on their little brother because he would be the most susceptible to fall for it. Reportedly, they planned it all in their basement while their little brother had gone upstairs to eat. After planning everything out, they covered the little boy with the blanket, and put on a Hollywood act.

In addition, they all agreed to act surprised after another family member uncovered him with the blanket. At first, he didn’t seem to fall for the trick until his sister went to take a picture next to the couch, which showed no trace of the little boy, whatsoever. That’s when he freaked out and started yelling and everyone pretended that they couldn’t hear or see him.

His sister would say aloud 'Sam if you can see us hold this.' Gatorade bottle and then she did the trash can. Every time he would hold something, we would yell and be surprised by pretending that the objects were floating and that we couldn’t see him. After they supposedly brought him back they showed him the video and told him that they could actually see him the whole time. Of course, he told them that they are all very mean because they tricked him into believing into something so stupid! Crazy family, right?
