AFIB Saved My Life

Recently I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. AFIB is a pretty common heart arrythmia which affects millions of people worldwide.

I believe that AFIB saved my life. I'll talk about my reasoning in this video along with my experience with Paroxysmal AFIB and ectopic heartbeats. I'll also talk about my choices regarding beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, blood thinners and lifestyle changes I made to address AFIB.

After talking about the pros and cons with my doctor, I opted to have a cardiac ablation performed to treat my AFIB. In a follow-up video, I will talk about my experience with a new procedure called a Pulsed Field Ablation
