Information has surfaced that Israel will be withdrawing from Gaza. There will also be an exchange of hostages and prisoners. What has Israel accomplished there, other than losing respect for itself?

There is currently no agreement on who will govern Gaza after the cease-fire. The United States insists that a reformed version of the Palestinian Authority handle it.

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Tuesday that post-war reconstruction and governance involves the Palestinian Authority inviting “international partners” to create an interim governing body that would run essential services and control the territory.
