I'm only joking. As Mark Twain famously cited someone else (who, we're not sure): the three kinds of lies are lies, ------ lies, and statistics. In other words, the mean, mode, median, and range have a role to play in studying the world that God created. But will you use them on an everyday basis? It depends on your profession. Involved in sports? You bet. Flipping burgers like a champ? Probably not. Nonetheless, as with everything else on this channel, the goal is to equip a student with problem-solving skills that they can carry with them wherever they go. The statistical tools are just that: more tools in the tool kit. Buckle up.
