Here's a look behind the scenes as I pull the curtain back to show you some of the things that go into making a snow forecast in New England. There are many variables that factor into a snow forecast; track of the storm, how much cold air is in place or will be created, how much liquid for a snow to liquid ratio etc. A different in 50 to 100 miles for a storm could mean a couple inches of snow or a foot.
