The Supreme Court upheld a federal law on Friday that would ban the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok from Sunday. President-elect Donald Trump said he will announce his decision on TikTok in the near future.

Trump’s inauguration will move indoors to the Capitol Rotunda due to sub-freezing temperatures. The forecast for Washington on Monday is 17 degrees. This will be the first time since President Ronald Reagan’s second inauguration in 1985 that the ceremony has been moved indoors.

Israel’s full Cabinet is meeting to discuss the Gaza cease-fire and hostage release deal. If the agreement is approved, the cease-fire will start on Sunday, when the first hostages are to be released.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee held a confirmation hearing for Trump’s DHS nominee Kristi Noem on Friday. Senators focused on how Noem would carry out Trump’s border policies and deportation plans, fight terrorism, and handle disaster relief.
