Resources for People Experiencing Any Type of Trauma
When there's an emergency, you call 9-1-1. But sometimes we face other crises in our lives, and it's not easy to know where to turn. Joining us is the President and CEO of IMPACT, which provides the community with free services through their Crisis Call Center at 2-1-1, as well as walk in mental health screenings. John is joined by Meg Kissinger, an investigative journalist who has championed the rights for people with mental illness after the suicides of her two siblings. This is part of our Trauma Series presented by IMPACT 2-1-1, in partnership with Bader Philanthropies. For more information, visit ImpactInc.org. There you can learn more about their Critical Condition Fund for people to donate in honor or in memory of their loved ones. All proceeds go to increase their workforce on the streets, in their Crisis Call Center, and in their offices to continue to provide free life-saving services.
