How NEPA And The CAA CRIPPLED California Forest Services And Democrat Leaders DID NOTHING

In this video I take a closer look at California Forest Service and what brush clearing and prescribed burns look like in California. Especially considering these wildfires seem to burn through Southern California on a yearly or bi-yearly basis.

At first glance, before I even attempted or needed to do a DEEP DIVE, a shallow backstroke would suffice to get us started. (Also, before anyone comments about me "copying" Liberal Hivemind, as I just noticed this was my first time using his clips while using an avatar similar to his.....I change my avatars on a regular basis. I use all kinds of different avatars. Just saying, not that it matters or anyone cares.)

NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) and the CAA (Clean Air Act) have crippled CA Forest Service. Ineffectual planning, lawsuits and cutting through red tape costs the Forest Service $150 MILLION PER YEAR and takes around 40% of all their staff to deal with NEPA and CAA. Do you know how long it takes for the Forest Service to be approved to perform a single prescribed burn? 3.6 to 7.2 years on average. Their report also including warnings from over the past two decades that, if this red tape continues to stop them from doing what needs done that a catastrophic event would happen. They have had a bunch of medium and smaller ones, but this one. OUCH

They claim if they could stop the nonsense, they could free up $100 MILLION PER YEAR, that would not go to BS but instead go to actual brush clearings and burns. Not to mention, the extra staff they would have.

THIS IS DISGUSTING ME.

With that said, the CAA has leniency for WILDFIRE SMOKE AND POLLUTANTS but no such leniency for controlled burns to prevent said wildfires.

They set themselves up to fail with trash Democrat/Progressive Policy that flies in the face of common sense.

I have not even mentioned the water yet, nor the National Prescribed Fire Act that was introduced in 2024 and just sat on desks while they scrambled to give themselves raises, pay BILLIONS to UKRAINE and pay off their bribes before switching Congress.

IT IS DISINGENUOUS AT BEST, more insulting to my "intelligence" than anything.

There is talking about the lack of water, and I present a possible interim solution to their infrastructure issues with housing and storing storm water during the winter months, where these wildfires seem to spark. That is from my underwear in my living room.....THESE ARE GLOBAL LEADERS.
