Episode 5: ECW Heat Wave 1999

It was a hot one Dayton for Extreme Championship Wrestling. For as much as the Marks (Troy & Greg) disliked many things about ECW, they didn't dislike this event. In full heel form, the Dudley Boyz nearly start a riot with a blistering promo on the crowd right before defending the World Tag-Team Titles against Balls Mahoney and Spike Dudley. Besides that, a chibi Steve Corino is all over this show, Tommy Dreamer feints retirement, Taz is out for blood against "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri, and RVD and Jerry Lynn make strange bedfellows as they take on the Impact Players, much to the chagrin of Sabu. Besides the event itself, the Marks are talking Sable suing the WWF over her name, then-governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura agreeing to referee the main event at SummerSlam, WCW financially and creatively going down the poop tubes, and much more!
