Tim Sheehy is a distinguished politician and former Navy SEAL, known for his leadership and commitment to public service. He served in the U.S. Navy for over a decade, participating in numerous combat missions and earning commendations such as the Bronze Star and the Navy Commendation Medal. Sheehy then moved into the private sector and founded Bridger Aerospace, an aerial firefighting company operating across the US - most recently in Los Angeles in the Palisades and Eaton Canyon wildfires.
In 2024 he left Bridger Aerospace to run for public office, aiming to bring his military experience and business acumen to government. He emphasizes policies that support small businesses, improve healthcare access for veterans, and enhance national security measures. His book “Mudslingers: A True Story of Aerial Firefighting” chronicles the history of aerial firefighting operations in the US with 100% of proceeds going to firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty.
