R.C. Sproul Wrong Again
In the last video, we compared Sproul's view of predestination to that of Jonathan Edwards. We found that Sproul's claim that men have the free will power for self-determination in his book Chosen By God did not match Edwards' teaching that men do not have the free will power for self-determination. Edwards' teaching can be found in his book The Freedom of the Will. Concerning that aspect of predestination, Sproul's claim was consistent with Roman Catholicism, Pelagianism, and Arminianism—while inconsistent with the teaching of Scripture and Reformed theology.
In this video we look at the two so-called definitions that Sproul gave for the term free will. Sproul claimed to have taken his definition from Jonathan Edwards' book The Freedom of the Will, and other unnamed persons.
