In the Amazon, women lead efforts to grow acai berry production

In the small village of Ilha da Jussara, growing acai berries is a major source of income. Production in the community has grown around 50% in the last decade, lead by Edna dos Anjos Nascimento Siqueira and a dozen or so other women. Arrthy Thayaparan has more.
