The Pyramid of Power – Chapter 9 – The Prison Industrial Complex
This is Chapter 9 of a really great series by Derrick Broze who goes through the Pyramid of Power held & maintained by the ones behind the curtains - the International Cartel.
The Prison Industrial Complex – the combining of government and industry.
“It’s a symbiotic relationship between police departments, court systems, probation offices, transportation companies, food service providers, and many others which ultimately benefit from maintaining incarceration.”
Crime is BUSINESS.
There is an incentive to continue with criminal activity.
A surging inmate population in the 1980’s led to a boom for For-Profit Private Private Prisons.
Today, privately run prisons have become the governments default detention centers for undocumented migrants.
New York Times in 2018 reported that 73% of immigrants detained in the US are housed in Private Prisons.
Are you seeing how the Cabal can capitalize on everything here? They plan way ahead of their scams – for example, the Biden Admin just let these immigrants enter – planned probably a decade in advance, which gives the Cabal ample time to invest in private prisons.
Not only will they get paid by Government but they can pick and choose who they desire to traffic and use as sex slaves.
These private prisons have very little regulation and oversight and spend very little on food and taking care of the immigrants.
Companies that profit are Aramark, 3M, Amazon, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, Western Union and Wells Fargo.
Private prison operators include: CoreCivic, ferrovial agroman, The Geo Group and serco group.
Prison Policy Initiative says: “Poverty is not only a predictor of involvement with the Justice System: too often, it is also the outcome.”
The poor are the main “victims” of the prison system as they cannot afford to pay fines, they often do not have transportation to fulfill their court ordered obligations, they cannot afford bail and most often have to choose Court appointed Attorneys.
If one cannot afford bail, they are imprisoned and assumed guilty until they can get a trial.
Rehabilitation is a farce as the rehab involves punishment and not education.
The United States had 5% of the worlds population and 25% of the worlds prisoners.
The USA has the highest recidivism rate – (rate at which people who have been convicted of a crime are rearrested) – in 2019, the recidivism rate was 70% would be rearrested within 5 years.
It’s BIG business.
The education system is failing in the USA and there is not enough support to help children and children with behavioral issues often go right from school to prison and it just never ends, they are likely to repeat this pattern over an over.
History of the Industrial Prison Complex
It began in the early 1900’s the government became involved. Private Contracting began providing services like transportation, food and medical care.
The government collaborated with private prisons for labor. It was the convict lease system.
Private parties would pay public prisons for “Forced Labor.”
Prisons were often rented out to Plantation owners.
The Tennessee coal, iron and railroad Company was one of the larges users of Prison Labor, most African Americans.
US Steel – Andrew Carnegie, JP Morgan, Charles Schwab, Henry Clay Frick, Elbert Henry Gary, and William H Moore – some of these names should sound familiary.
US Steel used prisoners for labor.
They would be responsible for feeding, clothing and housing the prisoners. These were nothing less than filthy, unsanitary concentration camps.
The slave prison system was banned in 1928.
1930 – Federal Prison Industries – also known as UNICOR is an in prison labor program where prisoners produce products for the public sector. Under Fed Law, all prisoners who are physically able to work must. In the USA inmates earn .23 cents to a $1.15 per hour. Slavery.
Companies who profit off of cheap prison labor are McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Walmart, Starbucks, Sprint, Verizon, Victoria’s Secret, Fidelity Investments, JCPenney, and American Airlines.
What led to the Corporate – State Prison Relationship?
Longer Prisoner Sentences and the Likelihood of being sentenced.
During the 1980s, the federal government and nearly every state enacted mandatory minimum sentence laws for drug and violent crimes, typically requiring minimum sentences of 5, 10, and 20 years or longer.
During the 1990s, the federal government and more than half the states enacted truth-in-sentencing and three strikes laws. Almost all of the states now have life without possibility of parole laws.
The WAR ON DRUGS, started by Nixon and continued by Ronald Reagan were significant drivers that resulted in higher U.S. incarceration rates.
Over the decades of the prison buildup, the incarceration rate for drug offenses increased tenfold—twice the rate for other crimes. Prison admissions for drug offenses grew rapidly, increasing from about 10,000 state prison com mitments for drugs in 1980, to about 120,000 admissions by 1990, and peaking at 157,000 admissions in 2008.
WAR ON DRUGS – was a PSYOP
John Ehrlichman, Richard Nixon’s Domestic Affairs Advisor said this about the “War on Drugs.”
“You want to know what this [war on drugs] was really all about? The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying?
We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news.
Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”
~ John Ehrlichman, Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs under President Richard Nixon
And guess who was supplying the Drugs? The CIA.
The prison system was designed and developed to punish the poor and reward the elite. It’s just another way to steal from the tax payers to enrich themselves while punishing those they label useless eaters.
One prisoners are released to the public they are not rehabilitated in any way. They have been marked to fail. They are marked as criminal who will have difficulties finding a job, finding a home and setup to reenter the Prison Industrial Complex.
It is a money funneling system. Until the elite focus on bigger and better things, maybe we can reform the system and focus on rehabilitation instead of punishment.
