Police: West Price Hill woman 'viciously mauled' to death by dog

Officers shot and killed a dog that charged them after "viciously" mauling its owner to death in West Price Hill Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from Cincinnati police. According to police, a neighbor called 911 around 1 p.m. to report what they believed to be a person having a seizure in the home across the street. When officers arrived, they discovered the dog standing over its owner's unresponsive body. When the dog spotted the officers, it "aggressively charged them," forcing them to shoot and kill it, according to a news release.
