New bodycam video shows the moment an officer discovered a man who was arrested last week after it was found he was over six times the legal limit.

The video posted to social media shows Officer Sean Bruner approaching the vehicle with Miguel Anguel Rodriguez, 43, passed out behind the wheel.

Rodriguez was found unconscious in an SUV at an intersection on Davenport Boulevard on Jan 7.

In the video, Officer Bruner parked his patrol car in front of the SUV beforehand and can be seen walking up to the car. He tries to communicate with Rodriguez, before smashing the window and removing the key from the ignition.

According to an arrest report, the officer found 12 empty wine bottles inside the vehicle.

Rodriguez was taken to a nearby hospital, where police said his blood alcohol level was recorded at 6.5 times the legal limit.
