KCPD investigating armed robbery at Walgreens on Broadway

KCPD is investigating an armed robbery at a Walgreens early Thursday morning. It happened around 4:30 a.m. on the corner of 39th and Broadway. Officers on the scene told 41 Action News everyone is OK. After reviewing surveillance footage, police said they believe three people took a large quantity of prescription drugs from the pharmacy. It isn't clear just how much the suspects made off with yet.
