PHRK visits: Altai Krai, the road to Lake Beloye and Mount Sinyukha -24.04.2022-
After arriving at the birthplace of the famous weapon designer M.T. Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov, Danish writer Povl Heinrich Riis-Knudsen and his Russian wife Valentina traveled to the world-famous Kolyvan immediately after visiting the museum. It was there at the Kolyvan stonemasonry that the Tsarina vases were made, which are in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. And further they reached the village named after March 8, where there is a unique lake Beloe (with healing waters) and the mountain Sinyukha. According to the folklore of these places, it is between Mount Sinyukha and Lake Beloe that the final battle between good and evil will one day take place. About the sacredness of these places speak and scientific works of one of the leading experts of the Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg) L.S. Marsadolov. This is the “place of power” that Danish author and translator Povl Heinrich Riis-Knudsen visited with his Russian wife on Sunday, April 24, 2022, Easter Sunday.
