Jesus' rhetorical question, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone," was not a denial of His own goodness or divinity. Instead, He was prompting the inquirer to reflect deeply on the implications of calling Him "good," thereby subtly affirming His divine nature. This is further evidenced when God the Father declares during the Transfiguration, "This is my beloved Son; listen to him" (Mark 9:7)

. Such divine endorsement unequivocally identifies Jesus as the Son of God, worthy of worship and obedience.

Moreover, Jesus' assertion, "I am the good shepherd" (John 10:14), directly correlates with the Old Testament depiction of God as the shepherd of His people, thereby reinforcing His divine identity. This self-identification is a clear proclamation of His deity, as He embodies the roles and attributes ascribed to God.

The rich man's reluctance to follow Jesus' command to sell his possessions and follow Him (Mark 10:21) exposes a superficial acknowledgment of Jesus' authority. True recognition of Jesus as the Holy and Righteous One necessitates complete devotion and obedience, surpassing mere verbal affirmations.

In contrast, the Quran's portrayal of Allah lacks the intimate father-child relationship that Jesus offers to believers. The Quran explicitly denies Allah as a father figure, stating, "He begets not, nor is He begotten" (Surah 112:3). This impersonal depiction stands in stark contrast to the loving and personal relationship that Jesus invites us into with God the Father.
