YUBA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 1/14/25: STOP THE SHOTS!

I was proud of my 3 minute comment today! Changed it up a bit.

First, they never get my name right! I wrote clearly THREET. The Clerk mispronounced it, not unusual. BUT the "Live" taping system thought she said "FREED"!! And typed it on the TV feed! Hey, maybe I will be FREED.

Also, there was a young man who I met at the Sutter County Supervisors meeting named Tony. He is very kind and seems to go to these two meetings to say "thank you" to every person he likes. I venture to guess he is a bit developmentally disabled but involved in his community.

When he gave his public comment today, he personally named officials he wanted to thank. He turned to look at the audience and looked me in the eye saying "thank you lady from Chico"! So adorable he remembered me from Sutter. That is why I said "lady from Chico" when I approached the podium as the Clerk couldn't pronounce my name!

Great day. I am exhausted.
