Off-duty Detroit police officer accidentally shoots herself on city's west side

7 Action News has learned that a Detroit police officer accidentally shot herself on Monday afternoon. It was originally reported that she was shot. We're told the officer accidentally shot herself in the right arm and is in temporary serious condition.
