Facebook Fact-check - The Word Cloud Tarot Show - 14 Jan 2025

Today is the 14th of January 2025 and this week,
Mark Zuckerberg has announced
that Facebook will no longer fact-check.

We do a five minute tarot reading to investigate
and find that Facebook was founded with the sole
purpose to enrich it's owners.

It's engagement-tuned algorithms
encouraged terror and despair,
but this was balanced by a need to
satisfy the moderating external forces of
government and advertisers.

But with a new administration taking over,
and fascism rising,
the site will go back to it's roots and
to fill up anew with slander, deceit,
conspiracy falsehoods and hate-speech.
