Driver Fails to Stop After Striking Pedestrian

On December 22, 2024, around 2:35 a.m., a newer model white sedan was traveling northbound on Catalina Street approaching Wilshire Boulevard, when it struck a pedestrian crossing Catalina Street from the west curb. The driver continued north on Catalina Street, failing to stop, identify themselves, and/or render aid to the injured person as required by law.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the male victim to a local area hospital for further medical treatment.
