A reading of the seminal work by H.G.Wells.
Proposal - this work (1928), like "The Communist Manifesto" that preceded it (1848), is not so much a political science text or a history text as it is a religious work; a Progressive Bible, of sorts - setting the tone of HOW to think about the world using the principles of the Progressive movement. It is a counter-narrative (or "counter spell" in the OE sense of the term) to the traditional Western narrative found in the Bible.
