Taking enemy strongholds in the Kurakhovsky direction, west of the settlement of Uspenovka.

The enemy 71st Jaeger Brigade of the Air Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (71st OJBr) decided to put up a barrier in the path of our assault units along the northern bank of the Suhie Yaly River. The forest belt was covered on the flanks by concrete anti-tank pyramids, for 2 km of the field there were anti-tank ditches, trench lines and long-term fire structures made of concrete. The enemy planned to consolidate and stop our advance.

The countdown was on the clock, and a decision was made to operate in small assault groups, conduct reconnaissance in force, identify and suppress enemy firing points, and destroy the rearguard of the retreating 71st Separate Brigade.
Three enemy positions were identified and opened fire.

The Lusy assault group (in the video) was tasked with capturing a Ukrainian stronghold. Before the group entered, the enemy was suppressed by our UAV crews. The group was thus able to immediately jump into the stronghold, throw grenades and open fire. The enemy resisted, and the passage to the dugout was reliably barricaded. During the inspection of the area, an air duct was discovered, into which our assault troops began throwing tear gas grenades and combat F1 grenades.
The enemy wavered and began to jump out. At that moment, "Lusa", having received the information as taught, began to approach the enemy with combat shooting.
This is how this stronghold was taken.

This ensured the subsequent introduction of all the main forces of the 33rd MRR for a further offensive to the west. And most importantly, it disrupted the enemy's plans.

The fighter with the call sign "Lusa" is a soldier, a private. An experienced fighter of the 3rd assault company of the 33rd regiment.
He emerged from this battle without injuries and led his group out. For 10 days he was in the position, holding it and coordinating further actions of the regiment's assault groups.
For the courage, heroism, bravery and completion of assigned tasks, the soldier was nominated by the regiment command for a high state award.
