President Trump is being walked down the “Primrose Path” of his political destruction in Ukraine

VIDEO SYNTHESIS / Rep. Col. (Ret.) Mike Waltz, President Trump’s pick for National Security Advisor, just said he will continue Biden’s policy pressuring Zelensky to reduce the age of conscription from 25 to 18.

If Trump acquiesces, then he himself will assume a moral stake in the outcome of the war that he does not yet have. Those advising the president may mean well militarily, but they are leading him into a trap politically. Feeding even younger kids into the meat grinder now, Trump won’t then be able to disengage six months later without looking weak AND feckless. So he will be drawn ever deeper in. He needs to totally disengage on Jan 20th — with no “security guarantees”.
