The assertion that Muhammad is the Paraclete (Comforter) mentioned in the Gospel of John is utterly baseless and reflects a profound misunderstanding of the Scriptures. Jesus Christ explicitly identifies the Paraclete as the Holy Spirit, not as a future human prophet. In John 14:26, He states, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things." This declaration leaves no room for misinterpretation—the Paraclete is the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad.

Furthermore, Jesus describes the Paraclete as someone the disciples already know, who "abides with you and will be in you" (John 14:17). This clearly indicates an indwelling spiritual presence, which aligns perfectly with the nature of the Holy Spirit. It is preposterous to suggest that Muhammad, who was born centuries later, was somehow present with the disciples or could dwell within them.

Additionally, Jesus affirms His own role in sending the Paraclete: "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me" (John 15:26). This underscores the divine origin and mission of the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and is sent by the Son. To equate this divine Spirit with a human figure like Muhammad is not only theologically erroneous but also diminishes the profound work of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers into all truth.

The beauty of these passages lies in the promise of God's intimate presence with His people through the Holy Spirit. This divine Comforter teaches, reminds, and testifies of Christ, empowering believers to live in accordance with God's will. Such a promise is unparalleled and showcases the depth of God's love and provision for His followers.

Muslims, open your eyes to the truth. The misrepresentation of the Paraclete as Muhammad is a grave error. Embrace Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, your only hope and salvation!
