TBIW Comment: FIRST of all; this is NOT a review of the Real EVANGELION series. This is a review of NETFLIX recent WoKe abomination of it.
This is a known Problem, Smearing of Old Shows using TWISTED Re-makes by the likes of NETFLIX Evil. In a similar way Rick And Morty began on a hook theme that tended to tug on and expose the worlds Corruption, but then devolved into pure depravity after about S3; taking 'followers' along with it.
Here is a comparison I made between OG Evangelion and NETFLIX depravity a couple of years ago. It shows some stark differences and twisting of the story. It should NOT be allowed to hold the SAME Title. They are vastly different Stories. The Original is quite hard to find. Anime can be a little messed up at times, but not always is it bad. The NETFLIX 'version' doesn't even use the final episodes/ending; incompatible.
