Daily Snark 1/12/25 Governmental Budgets

I’ve never understood the widespread practice of, “We need to use our full budget this year, to ensure we get it again next year.”

Like I say in the video, it would make more sense to start with a slush fund, and then allocate as needed. 

Light snow year?

Great!

They’ve got a leftover surplus that can go back into the kitty.

But, nope!


Gotta find ways to waste money just to insure they get the dolla bills again.
