We have completed the first book of the Bible, Genesis, our beginning, and now a new history for the Israelites begins Exodus Chapter God's promise to free the Israelites from Egypt and establish a covenant with them and while there is doubt, God does offer reassurance to Moses. The Israelites were mad at Moses because Pharaoh had increased their burdens, so God appeared to Moses again and reassured him Israel would be delivered from Egypt by the power of God.
