The director for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Dan Vávra, said in a recent interview triple A game developers have become afraid of online critics, particularly Asmongold and The Critical Drinker.

Dan Vávra acknowledge the power many in the online gaming sphere have amassed because of their close ties to the paying customer and these voices do have the power to make a significant difference in the sales of games. This is a contrast to the public perception many triple A studios try to let on. Right now average gamers are more inclined to listen to content creators over mainstream critics for a variety of reason. The more intelligent game developers will take a lesson from this and not simply dismiss such critics.
